APJ | OVERLAND

Hey y’all! We are Alyssa, Patronus (our corgi), and Josh; we make up APJ Overland. We are part-time adventurers from central Texas who love to be outdoors when our full-time jobs are not getting in the way. After gaining experience with tent camping through Texas state parks we decided to try our hand at getting further off the grid. So, we bought a Toyota Tacoma and little by little built our camping setup over the years.

As we started navigating the resources available to us on the internet we realized there’s lots of people overlanding – but there’s still a lot of guesswork that goes into the planning and execution of a trip. Through trial and error, team work, and learning from our mistakes we’ve had some successful overlanding trips. We decided to create this blog to share our stories, lessons learned, and resources for those seeking more outdoor adventures.
